David Price was nearly un-hittable, giving up only 2 hits and one run, a Brandon Snyder home run. The Rays only put up 2 runs against Doubront and company, but that was plenty. Prior to that game, the Rays won a 3-game series against the Sox a few days earlier. That make-up game gave the Rays a 1/2 game lead in the division that only lasted 2 days. This time Laser Show: Will Middlebrooks I don't expect him to hit 3 homers in the series, but I am sure he has at least one for the Rays. It has been fun to watch him and he will continue to produce at the bottom of the lineup. Pitch Around: Evan Longoria Longoria has hit 5 homers against the Sox this season, second most next to the Yankees. Luckily, they have all been solo homers. Longoria's average has been on the decline, though that is not enough to convince me that he will be ineffective. The Sox have to be very careful when dealing to him.  Don't Fall Behind: David Price Statistically, Price is not the best pitcher going for the Rays. Current statistics aside, Price is the best pitcher on the Rays' staff. Price gave the Sox virtually nothing to work with the last time out and he will do all he can to repeat that performance. He could have a big advantage over Clay Buchholz who will have a lot of rust to work off. How we see it goin' down Game 1 is a huge question mark for the Sox. I feel a little bit better about games 2 and 3. The Rays have not won many games as of late, but they will turn it up this series and give the Sox some issues. The Rays will end up taking 2 games this series, but it's ok, it will only result in a 1 game swing in the standings.
