Well, that didn't last long.Just days after Jorge Posada announced his retiring, word came that his $11.5 million condominium was on the market. But, I guess when the Yankees don't need you in New York...you cease needing to own property on Manhattan's Upper East Side.Curious about what the condo contains? Be curious no more...thanks to The Real Estalker.
Property records suggest Mister and Missus Posada purchased and subsequently combined two adjacent mid-floor condo residences in to one mansion-sized sprawler at The Seville, a 31-story, full-service white glove condo tower that lords over a busy but fairly ordinary corner of East 77th Street and 2nd Avenue. The glassy tower offers residents round-the-clock door people, direct access to a private garage, and a state of the art fitness center complete with the requisite body torture devices, an outdoor terrace, swimming pool, spa, and sauna.
We're not entirely sure when they snatched up the first piece of their ...

Curtis Granderson Lauds Yankees' Pitching Upgrades, Believes American League East Race Will Be Tight
BOSTON -- When Curtis Granderson first stepped into the batter's box against pitcher Michael Pineda last year, he didn't notice any fear. "He came out, he came right at you," Granderson said Monday before the Hot Stove Cool Music roundtable. "I don't remember the exact results of what we did against him [New York won 4-3], but I knew he was in there, knew...

Kuroda, Not Pineda, is Poised for Breakout Year
The deal that sent Michael Pineda to the Yankees has made him the talk of the rotation, but the real breakout candidate this year could be free agent Hiroki Kuroda.
Kuroda is 36, so calling him a breakout candidate probably sounds odd; pitchers that are already past the age of 35 don’t normally improve significantly. He is, however, entering his fifth season in the States, and...
Yanks SS Teixeira’s set to lay it down
No one should expect Mark Teixeira to become a $180 million bunter this season, but the Yankee first baseman admits he’s finally ready to give in to his frustrations over declining numbers the past few years.
Teixeira may add bunting to arsenal in '12
Having been frustrated by his .223 batting average against righties, due in part to seeing sure hits die in the infielders' gloves on the outfield grass, Mark Teixeira said on Tuesday that he is ready to put the bunt in defenders' minds.
Tex threatens to try bunting
Mark Teixeira has resisted the idea for years, but after hitting a career-low .248 last season, the first baseman is considering adding bunting to his game.
“One thing I noticed is that my average with men on base was good, but when no one’s on base, it wasn’t...
