Our friends at It’s Always Sunny In Detroit stopped by a suburban Detroit gym last night and nearly had a heart attack when Kate Upton just happened to be in the same gym. That’s right, Kate Upton is back in Detroit. Why? We assume because she’s dating Justin Verlander. You might remember that the two shared some personal time before the all-star break by catching an Aerosmith concert & hanging at the bar.

Of course we asked IASID what gym Kate was working out at. He’s not revealing that detail this morning. According to the report, Upton took a tour of the facility, then signed up for a membership and returned to her car to get ear buds.

Follow-up question: “Rental car or did it look like one of Justin Verlander’s fleet of Mercedes?”

IASID says she wasn’t driving a Mercedes.

Verlander is scheduled to start Friday at Comerica against the White Sox and Jake Peavy.

Kate Upton gets stylish and sexy for the Brits

I just met Kate Upton

It is officially always sunny in Detroit…at least while Miss Kate Upton is gracing the area with her presence.  I happened to bump into Miss Upton around town not more than an hour ago.  And for those wondering what she’s like, she’s as friendly as she is popular.  She didn’t have to give Tim Regular the time of day, but she did. Whether she decides to sport the It’s...

Tigers weekly: Verlander gets back to business

Everyone done panicking over Justin Verlander yet? Between his terrible performance in the All-Star Game and the rumors flying around about Kate Upton, last week was one of the first times that Tigers fans actually seemed worried about their ace. Where was his head? Was Upton going to be the next Yoko Ono? Had his All-Star performance uncovered some previously hidden flaw. Eight...

A Clayton Kershaw-Justin Verlander 1/1.

Clayton Kershaw and Justin Verlander won the NL and AL Cy Young Awards, respectively, in 2011. They both had truly dominant seasons as they whiffed batter after batter and put their teams in a great position to be successful on the days they pitched. Panini paired them for a relic card in the Timeline set found in their 2011 Playoff Prime Cuts release, which hit shelves in 2012....

Leather Jackets Make Kate Upton Especially Hot

Is it any surprise that Kate Upton looks bad-a** in a leather jacket? I’m not saying that she’s about to hop on a motorcycle or anything irresponsible like that, but you can tell that she... [[ Read More ]]

Kate Upton is sophisticated and sexy in Sunday Times Magazine (9 pics)

Kate Upton is usually seen in skimpy bikinis, but here is the busty starlet in a photo shoot with Eric Guillemain in the Sunday Times Magazine.

Sabermetric Spotlight: Justin Verlander

Sabermetric Spotlight: Justin Verlander, SP, Detroit Tigers   The Reason - I realize I am completely going off base of what I stated in my last article, ya know, about avoiding the Detroit Tigers because of my emotional ties. But shoot, have you watched Justin Verlander pitch at all this year? The reigning AL MVP and CY Young winner is throwing gems almost each time he toes the...

Game 2012.90: Angels at Tigers

Detroit Tigers, 46-43, 3 1/2 games behind Chicago. The Tigers try to continue their 2nd-half surge with a 4-game series against the redundantly named Los Angeles Angels.  The series will feature neither Justin Verlander nor Jered Weaver, much less a rematch between the two, since they both pitched yesterday.  Perhaps that will have to wait until the 1-game wild card playoff. Instead...

White Sox-Tigers Preview

While there figures to be plenty of intrigue surrounding this weekend's three-game set between the AL Central-leading Chicago White Sox and second-place Detroit Tigers, neither club appears to be buying in to the hype. Justin Verlander takes the mound opposite Jake Peavy as the surging Tigers try to inch closer to the visiting White Sox on Friday night. After controlling the...

Full Court Press: More Sandusky Victims Emerge, Erin Andrews and Kate Upton Baseball Cards, Sami Khedira’s Spectacular WAG

Click on photo to read more about the latest Sandusky accusers This stuff falls on deaf ears with me man. I’m sick of hearing about it. Penn State is a mess. You would have never have guessed it but somehow Penn State has a very strong recruiting class this year…. not sure how they pulled that off. Surprise! The National League is Better

The American League has better hitting and pitching.  The National League sucks! How many times have baseball fans said this (Or at least the first half of that statement)?  For a while now it has been widely assumed that the AL is the better league, even with the NL taking the last 2 world championships. But that assumption is wrong, and there has to be something...

Morning Manager: Week 15

Last Week: 2-1 This Week: LAA (7/16-19); CWS (7/20-22) So, What Happened? Justin Verlander got torched in the All-Star Game, AL manager Ron Washington scolded him publicly, and JV was linked to supermodel Kate Upton. Oh, you mean what really mattered? The Tigers extended their win streak to six games, before losing a toughie in Baltimore on Saturday night, a 13...
