Tigers' Fister placed on DL

Detroit Tigers right-hander Doug Fister returned to the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 29, with a strained muscle in his left side. Fister spent time on the DL with the same injury in April. The Tigers will recall Casey Crosby on Friday to start against the New York Yankees. Fister has started six games this season, posting a 3.15 ERA in 34 1/3 innings.
