The Mets are rolling tonight. After completing a deal for Jon Rauch, then trading Angel Pagan to San Francisco, the Mets have signed Frank Francisco to a two year deal pending a physical.Francisco converted 17 or 21 save opportunities for the Blue Jays last season while pitching to a 3.55 ERA. Francisco is a strike out pitcher, having struck out no less than 9.4 batters per nine innings pitched since 2008.According to Davidoff, The thought process now is that Francisco will be the closer for the Mets next season while Rauch will act as the 8th inning man.Terms of the deal are:
