Detroit Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera jokingly tossed his gum at Cleveland Indians left fielder Ryan Raburn as his former Tiger teammate was rounding the bases after hitting a home run in the fifth inning of Sunday's game at Comerica Park.
It happened in the fifth inning as Raburn broke up a no-hitter by Tigers pitcher Jose Alvarez with a home run to left field which tied the game at 1-1. Raburn was in the middle of his home run trot and had just rounded second when Cabrera took some gum out of his mouth and lightly tossed it in Raburn's general direction as he passed by.
Raburn's home run accounted for the only run the Indians scored in the game, as the Tigers won the game 4-1.
