Three years ago, it was a trip to Atlanta that was highlighted as the the turning point of a World Championship season. This year, there were no surprise visits from Brian Cashman, and the team wasn’t exactly scuffling, but they leave Atlanta with another sweep and nine wins in their last ten games.

The New York Yankees will send right-hander Phil Hughes to the mound tonight in game one of a three-game set against the Washington Nationals. In his last outing vs. the Mets, Hughes lasted 6 1/3 innings, giving up one run (via the long-ball) and struck out six for the win. The right-hander has allowed three [...]
New York Yankees 6 — Atlanta Braves 4 Alex Rodriguez begins the comeback rally in tonight’s 6-4 win over the Atlanta Braves. At center field the incomparable Joe DiMaggio catches, as Joe...
Mike Francesa outted Steve Somers as 'disgusting' yesterday.
