Though their season high eight game win streak came to an end on Tuesday; the Padres bookended that loss with a pair of wins over the Atlanta Braves, winning their third straight series. The series clincher on Wednesday was their ninth victory in their last 10 games. Yasmani Grandal knocked in all three runs on Monday and also had an RBI Wednesday, earning Friarhood player of the series honor. The Padres will have travel day on Thursday as they head on the road to Colorado for the first three games of a six game trip.
