It was also a career high for Kingham. I interviewed Kingham for the Pirates Prospects podcast last week, after his last start and before this start. Kingham talked about his stuff this year and his approach, noting that each game he plays a game to challenge himself. Obviously tonight’s game was “dominate every hitter”. Jose Osuna is 15 for 36 in his last ten games, with four multi-hit games.   A: WEST VIRGINIA POWER Box Score Result:  Savannah 3, West Virginia 2 Starting Pitcher: John Kuchno, RHP (5.14) – 4.2 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB, 1 K, 0 HR Top Hitter: Dilson Herrera, 2B (.266) – 2-for-4, 2B Other Notable Performers: Josh Bell, RF (.268) – 2-for-4 Stetson Allie, 1B (.348) – 2-for-4 Game Notes: John Kuchno has given up two earned runs in 13.2 innings over his last three starts. He’s dealt with some control problems, with a 7:7 K/BB ratio in that span. On the season he has a 15:15 K/BB ratio in 21 innings. Josh Bell has a .286/.311/.476 line in 42 at-bats over his last ten games. He hasn’t been drawing a lot of walks this year, but is hitting and hitting for some power.
