Game Notes: Justin Wilson made back to back relief appearances for the first time this year. Last night he came on to get the final out in the fifth inning, and tonight he pitched a full inning, striking out the side. Bryan Morris also pitched on back to back nights. For his third straight outing he gave up a run, although this time the runs were unearned. Duke Welker has given up one earned run in 4.2 innings since returning from a shoulder injury. In that time he has a 6:1 K/BB ratio. Brock Holt went 3-for-4 and now has four straight three hit games.

Altoona announced their end of season team awards today, naming Brock Holt the MVP and Phil Irwin the Pitcher of the Year.

Alen Hanson reached base and stole his 33rd base of the year.
