TEAMS: Arizona Diamondbacks

J.J. Putz had another stellar season in the bullpen for the Arizona Diamondbacks but now the question is will he be back. Putz and the Diamondbacks have a mutual option for the 2013 season. If both sides agree to pick it up he’ll make $6.5 million if not he’ll get a $1.5 million buyout and test free agency. Those are pretty good numbers and I’m sure any team looking for a closer would make an offer if he decided to test the market. After resurrecting his career in Arizona though I’m not sure if Putz would want to go anywhere.
