Shin-Soo Choo has no doubts the Reds will be back in the playoffs but he doesn't know if he will be with them. Choo scored both runs in the Reds' 6-2 Wild Card Game loss to the Pirates on Tuesday homering in what may have been his final at-bat in a Reds uniform. The Reds traded for Choo last December in hopes of solving their long-suffering problem in the leadoff spot knowing he was a free agent after this season. Choo responded to the role reaching base 300 times in the regular season and posting the second-best on-base percentage in the National League. He also played in the postseason for the first time in his career. But after the Reds' loss Choo was visibly disappointed in the way it ended. "I don't know it's my first experience myself with the playoffs it's not easy to just forget about it" Choo said. "It was very exciting I was nervous for a couple of innings. It's not easy to forget this moment." Choo said he certainly wanted more hoped for more and thought the Reds had a chance to do more than play in a single postseason game. "This is not what I'm looking for. I really want to go (deeper in) the playoffs" Choo said. "I knew when I came here the Cincinnati Reds were a good team and everyone knew they'd make the playoffs. The reason I came here was to play in the playoffs." With his playoffs over it's time for Choo to start thinking about the future and as a free agent the choice will be up to him. He won't officially become a free agent until the end of the World Series so in the aftermath of a crushing defeat Choo said he hadn't quite turned his attention to next season yet. "It's still too early" Choo said. "I have a lot of feelings going on a lot of things in my head. I don't know. I have a lot of good memories here so I don't know."
