The Toronto Blue Jays reported are nearing a deal to sign left-handed reliever Darren Oliver.
The Dallas Morning News, citing two major league sources, reported the immiment signing.
The 41-year-old Oliver has spent the past two seasons with the Rangers, appearing in more than 60 games each year.
He had a 5-5 record and a 2.29 ERA in 61 appearances last season with Texas, which has lost in the World Series the past two years.
Oliver has a 112-90 record and 4.60 career ERA.
