Pitcher Matt Cain (11-5, 2.99) looks to get the Giants going tonight in San Diego. At this time Gregor Blanco is the man replacing Melky Cabrera in left field. He’s been in a big time slump, but managed to snap his 21 at-bat hitless streak in Wednesday’s game against the Nationals.Shortstop Brandon Crawford is in the midst of a career high hitting streak.
