The tale of two Nate’s I know Nate Jones isn’t as well known as Nate McLouth but in my world they both mean a lot. Nate Jones is a 27 year old reliever for the Chicago White Sox.  Nate Mclouth is a well traveled outfielder who now resides on the Baltimore Orioles. The last two years couldn’t have been more different for both of them.  They are the yin to each other’s yang for sure. Let’s start with my guy Nate Jones, he had a good spring in 2012 and made the big squad and responded with a solid year.  In 65 games he pitched 71.2 innings, with a solid 2.39 ERA.  He was a huge contributor to the Sox almost winning the division.  The pitching carried the team all year and Nate was a big part of that. 2013 has not been as kind to Nate.  His numbers so far read 18 games, 22 innings, with a 6.14 ERA.  He already allowed 15ER as opposed to 19ER all last year!    Looking at the breakdown is lists as: 2012: 71.2ip, 67 hits, 19 er, 65k’s. 2013: 22ip, 20 hits, 15 er, 18k’s.
