Report: Athletics sign Inge

Recently released infielder Brandon Inge reportedly has agreed to a contract with the Oakland Athletics on Sunday. The slugger, who was released by the Detroit Tigers on Thursday, may find himself playing third base in Oakland, reported via Twitter. Inge, 34, was batting .100 with in 20 at-bats this season. He has a .264 career batting average with 140 homers.
