At what price does Prado come at? In a report from Mlive Contributor Ian Casselberry earlier today, he mentioned that the Detroit Tigers were interested in trading for Atlanta Braves super utility player Martin Prado to fill our 2nd base hole. At first I was very excited about the report since Prado is a great player and would defiantly help us at 2nd base and fill in at lead off or 2nd in the batting order. Prado has played 2B, 3B, LF,RF,SS and 1B in his 6 year career with the Braves and carries a .293 average with 13 HR’s and 66 RBI’s. Production like that with the versatility to play all those positions is very rare to find these days…but at what price would the Tigers have to pay to get him? From the report earlier it looks like that price would be one of the newest and most productive players we have…Delmon Young! Now I am not so sure about the trade if it’s true. Lets compare shall we.
