The Mets won 3 of 5 against the Braves The Atlanta Braves lost the rubber match of the 5 game series with the New York Mets 4-3, on Thursday night.  The Mets were led by David Wright, as he homered twice in the game off of Braves starter, Mike Minor. Before Thursday’s start, Mike Minor had owned NL teams in his last 18 starts.  In those 18 starts, Minor was 12-0 with 2.22 ERA. Needless to say, that streak came to a stop against the Mets. Wright got the scoring started early, as he hit his first solo shot off Minor with 2 outs in the top of the 1st inning. The Braves would answer in their portion of the inning.  Tyler Pastornicky (starting at 2B), and Jason Heyward, both reached on singles in the 1st.  Justin Upton then singled to right field to score Pastornicky and tie the game at 1-1. It was the 3rd inning when the Braves took the lead against Mets starting pitcher, Jonathan Neise.  With 2 outs in the inning, Chris Johnson singled to score Braves first baseman, Freddie Free...
