Texas Rangers Pitcher Scott Feldman Wants to Start in 2012
The Texas Rangers may not know who will be the team’s four starting pitchers in 2012, but there’s one volunteer. On Wednesday, Rangers reliever Scott Feldman said he wants to start for the two-time defending American League champions next season.
“I want to start again, yeah,” Feldman said. “I don’t know what they’re going to do. They’ve got...

Feldman One PItch Away
Last nights World Series game was amazing. Unfortunately, Scott Feldman was part of the tragedy that was the Texas Rangers. I was all set to write a story on Feldman being the hero. The pitcher who finally stopped the bleeding. One more strike, but that was all Lance Berkman needed. Singling on a tough inside cutter. Feldman better be ready for game 7 right around the corner...

It’s World Series time and the Texas Rangers and St. Louis Cardinals are letting you know their top 10 favorite things about it in this video.
Here is the list:
1) Getting to meet the cast of Glee (ehhhh?)

3) World Series shares (bling bling)
4) After it’s over, Derrick Holland will shave his ridiculous...

A Stat for Feldman
Sully Baseball thinks there should be a stat to give Scott Feldman credit for Monday’s win in Texas:
So Feldman doesn’t get the start.
He doesn’t get the win.
He doesn’t get a hold.
He doesn’t get a save.
He gets gotch.
Sure he gets to have a low ERA and nice stats. But there SHOULD be a stat, shouldn’t there?
A “Hey Nice Game!” Stat.
A “He saved the bullpen...

Scott Feldman - Rangers Secret Weapon?
Scott Feldman held the Tampa Bay Rays to two singles and a walk in six innings of work on Tuesday night. Does that mean anything in the Rangers' grand scheme of things? Should it? All those are interesting questions as the Rangers forge ahead toward their second straight division title (if they can hold off the Angels, that is). Feldman has gone from 2010's Opening Day starter...

Feldman has surgery, McCarthy finally gone
A few moves were made by the Rangers over the weekend that were not big to most, but were notable. And then there is the news on this last season’s opening day starter having surgery, and finally the question being asked about if the Rangers do need to resign Vlad. The offseason is just underway and this could be one of the first ones in a long time where the Rangers will be...

The Scott Feldman ... Mistake?
Well, that was awesome, if not a tad bittersweet. The first-place Rangers largely performed as they should have performed, particularly on the pitching side in their first two tilts against the Angels last week, and again find themselves perched atop the division by a formidable seven-game margin ... and yet, even though there's not a single player in baseball that could pull...

Offense propels Feldman to second win
Scott Feldman's second win of 2010 has been a long time coming, but he needed a lot of help from the offense to get there. His teammates picked him up, pounding out 20 hits (including three long balls) for 13 runs. I hope he buys a few of them dinner or a drink or something.
The Rangers jumped on the board early, scoring four runs in the 1st inning. Feldman turned around...
