Jorge Masvidal wants to make a sensational return to the octagon with the UFC White House event on the horizon.

'Gamebred' was a pivotal figure in the UFC welterweight division for years, fighting anyone the promotion would put in front of him during his decade with the organization. The 40-year-old has had many memorable moments under the company banner, and one of his most notable was his knockout win over Darren Till at UFC London in 2019.

While the triumph over Till was a big one for Jorge Masvidal, it was what came later that propelled him to superstardom. A backstage altercation with Leon Edwards led to Masvidal hitting him several times, leading him to release his famous "three piece and a soda" quote.

The two have been in a constant back-and-forth in the years following the incident, but Masvidal is ready to take it to the next level.

With the UFC White House event's promise of being the greatest fight card in UFC history, Jorge Masvidal believes he and Leon Edwards would be an unforgettable addition to proceedings.

"Leon, if you're watching this, I will f***ing beat the f*** out of you at the White House," Masvidal said. "Leon, I will beat the dog sh*t out of you, just like f***ing America kicked f***ing England's ass when you were trying to take over our sh*t and we had to send y'all back."

"I'm going to send you back the same way... 4th of July, America's birthday, bro. Let them make a mistake and send you as a representative for England. I will crash that party, brother."

Masvidal continued, insisting a long-awaited fight against Edwards would give him the motivation to return.

"I'll go crazy on this motherf***er, bro. I'll get in shape for you, Leon, don't worry about that."

His back-to-back losses to Belal Muhammad and Sean Brady mean Leon Edwards is enduring the worst run of his MMA career to date.

Edwards has a chance to snap that losing streak when he collides with Carlos Prates at UFC 322 on November 15.
