Rich Franklin will no doubt be entered into the UFC Hall of Fame when he hangs up his 4 oz gloves in the near future, and no one can deny the fact that he’s faced at beat some of the best there has ever been, so it will be sad to see him walk away from the cage over a decade after he first stepped into the Octagon to defeat Evan Tanner at UFC 42. Ace will always be one of my favorites, his fight of the night wars against Wanderlei Silva, even watching him get demolished against Anderson was incredible, especially since back then he was considered to be one of, if not the best around the sport. But, no man can escape time, and the 38-year-old Franklin is determining when his final punch is thrown. It could be his next fight, it could be two fights from now, but it seems like Michael Bisping may be on tap.
