The Ultimate Fighting Championship held the pre-fight press conference for Saturday’s UFC on FUEL TV 2 which takes place from the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Main event and co-main competitors Alex Gustafsson, Thiago Silva, Brian Stann and Alessio Sakara took turns addressing questions from the media.
Sweden’s Gustafsson who faces Silva in the main event was all business. The rising light heavyweight is focused on his toughest test yet in Silva and is not looking past the Brazilian at a potential match-up against champion Jon Jones. Silva, out of action for over a year, says that he is stronger and faster than ever. Stann discusses whether you can develop your chin and jokes about his own “granite” chin. Meanwhile, Sakara is just happy…very happy.
