UFC Welterweight Dan Hardy

Who says Dan Hardy (Pictured) doesn’t have a ground game? For Hardy fans who expected to see vintage “Outlaw” do his thing against Amir Sadollah on Saturday, Hardy decided to flip the script and showcase his improved grappling skills.

After making his name as one of MMA’s most lethal gunslingers, Hardy stated after his unanimous decision victory that he’s no longer interested in “chin checking” with his opponents. His refined outlook might not be as exciting, but it proved effective in its debut.

Hardy appears to have found new life after losing four straight scraps. The 30-year-old has rallied to win two consecutive contests.

UFC on FUEL TV 5 took place Saturday inside Capital FM Arena in Nottingham, England.
