The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #24 Drive To End Hunger/AARP Chevrolet, Jeff Gordon. Driver: Jeff Gordon #24 Sponsor(s): Drive To End Hunger/AARP/Pepsi Max/Axalta Coating Systems Make: Chevrolet Team: Hendrick Motorsports Crew Chief: Alan Gustafson 2012 Finish: 10th What’s new for 2013: No major changes to this team. Mike’s Rank: 10th Mike’s Take: Gordon came on strong at the end of 2012 and I look for the moment to continue, for a bit. He’ll hit his normal cool down mid-season, and then can get hot around the Chase. If he can find his consistency, then I’ll take him more seriously. Jason’s Rank: 12th Jason’s Take: Gordon has the chance at some success this season but it will be hard to come by for Gordon. Gordon will stay consistent enough to get in the Chase without a wild card spot but he will have issues in the Chase like he did last year. Gordon may pick up a couple of victories that will help him make the Chase. Brandon’s Rank: 7th Brandon’s Take: After starting the season off on a negative note, Gordon somehow picked it up and made the Chase by the skin of his teeth.  If Jeff Gordon can bring the momentum he had from Homestead to Daytona, he could have a stellar year. Brittany’s Rank: 6th Brittany’s Take: He’s getting old and he always has excuses that it’s someone else’s fault.
