The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #2 Miller Lite Ford, defending Sprint Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski. Driver: Brad Keselowski #2 Sponsor(s): Miller Lite Make: Ford Team: Penske Racing Crew Chief: Paul Wolfe 2012 Finish: 1st What’s new for 2013: Keselowski and his Penske Racing team will be in Fords for 2013 now that Dodge has exited the sport. He will also have a sporty new paint job for the year. Mike’s Rank: 3rd Mike’s Take: My first feeling was they will struggle out of the gate with the switch to Ford, but since the Chase evens everything out that shouldn’t be an issue. What I didn’t like about the last race in 2012 is Keselowski almost lost the championship still. He was running 15th or so while Johnson was knocking on the door. They need to go for the throat on those types of races to guarantee they win, not run average, and hope the others fall apart. Jason’s Rank: 3rd Jason’s Take: Keselowski will follow up his championship season with an even better season in the wins/consistency column but he’ll just barely lose the championship to Hamlin and fall to third behind Johnson. Keselowski will be in victory lane a lot this season. Brandon’s Rank: 2nd Brandon’s Take: Kesloweski won based off of consistency, but for the long haul, Brad will win several races in 2013 and have a shot to defend. Brittany’s Rank: 1st Brittany’s Take: Ever since I started following NASCAR, Keselowski has been my pick and he has yet to prove me wrong.
