Former NASCAR Cup Series crew chief Roy McCauley passed away Aug. 14, 2024, at the age of 53. McCauley was a crew chief at Team Penske between 2004 and 2009 and won twice in 120 races — at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway in 2006 and the 2008 Daytona 500 with Ryan Newman.
