I'm pretty sure this is the dunk that gave Nate Robinson the edge over Dwight Howard in the Slam Dunk Competition at All-Star Weekend. I mean I thought Adrian Wilson and Joey Gathright were freaks of nature with their ridiculous verticle leaps. That was until I saw tiny 5'9" Nate Robinson hurdle 6'11" Dwight Howard. Witness crazy athleticism:

Why do they even invite Rudy Fernandez and J.R. Smith when they rig it for Dwight Howard and Nate Robinson?

Yeah Dwight's first round was definitely rigged.

I'm not mad at Nate Rob tho, his two second round dunks were hot.

yea nate got it done! he definitely put on a show. j.r. looked like he didn't even care and rudy having gasol set him up really didn't sit well with me.
i think the only thing worse than the judging was the announcing, though.

Nate Robinson had an entire costume that was completely based off of Kryptonite, going along with Dwight Howard's Superman costume. They had background Superman music. Dwight Howard had the phone booth and 12 foot basket brought in.. All of this was set for the 2nd round. The players had to earn enough points in order to advance to the second round. The judges were obviously told to give Howard as many points as possible in order to set up the big man-little man/superman-kryptonite match-up. Did you honestly think that Howard's first dunk actually deserved 50 points?

yea if that wasn't set up why wouldn't they have the fans text/vote on round 1 too?

Dwight's dunks weren't anything special. That shiz was some straight marketing. Nate was looking like he busted out of a box of Lucky Charms. His jams were craaaaazy.

I actually thought Rudy Fernandez had the best dunk of the entire night. It just took Pau too long to give him a decent pass off the backboard.

If Rudy would of hit that the first time that was the best Dunk but what was like 7 or 8 times before he nailed it took the thrill out of it..

worst dunk contest... it was obviously rigged Dwight was Superman so Nate was krytonite? I wanna see what Lebron Does next year or how about we get legit dunkers like J-RIch vs VC vs LBJ vs Josh Smith vs Andre Iguadala

If Im Dwight I would be mad because no matter what Nate did, he would get good scores because of his height..If JR Smith did the dunks Nate did in the first round ppl would be killing him right now

J.R. said that he's over the dunk contest: "I'm getting too old for the dunk contest. My legs are too old."
