Found December 26, 2012 on That NBA Lottery Pick:
Since today is the day after Christmas, many people are returning gifts that they didn't like and I'm pretty sure that Brooklyn Nets forward Andray Blatche would like to return this sequence against the Boston Celtics from yesterday. It happened in the second quarter of play and Andray appeared to have a simple lay-up against Boston's Jared Sullinger.Andray's shot hit the rim and it looked like he would have a second chance to score off of a turnover but the ball ends up bouncing off his knee:

Report: Nets fire Avery Johnson

After a strong start to the season, the Nets have dropped 10 of its last 13 games, so the team reportedly has decided to part ways with head coach Avery Johnson.

Boston Celtics’ Jared Sullinger Impresses Against the Brooklyn Nets

Rookie Jared Sullinger Ties his Season Best   The Boston Celtics, a team stuck in the mud for some of November and all of December, who have seemingly lost the defensive mentality they once held so dearly, who have been unable connect on the court or show any sign of team chemistry, have a little [...]

An open apology to Jeff Green

Dear Mr. Green, I would like to start off by saying how truly sorry I am for my actions over the past two months since the start of the 2012-13 NBA Regular season. I took the time prior to the Celtics Christmas Day game against the Brooklyn Nets to watch the ESPN feature on you and your recovery from heart surgery. I must admit that for the majority of this season I have been nothing...

Brooklyn Nets Fire Coach Avery Johnson As Deron Williams, Billy King Strike Again

Multiple stories reporting Avery Johnson‘s firing on Thursday described Brooklyn Nets players as “blindsided” by the news. By any normal standards, this should have been a shocking development: the reigning NBA coach of the month, who was given a thrown-together roster, getting the boot after a rough stretch in the schedule. Nothing is shocking given the situation, however...

Video: Kevin Garnett beefs with Gerald Wallace over pulled shorts

There has to be a rule somewhere about how long you can hold onto a man’s shorts. Gerald Wallace grabbed a handful of Kevin Garnett’s in Brooklyn Nets/Boston Celtics Christmas Day match-up. Garnett took exception when Wallace wouldn’t let go after regaining his balance. It was the kinda move that can start a brawl, which [...]

Nets Fire Avery Johnson

A picture is worth a thousand words.  This photo to me represents the relationship between Avery and Deron.  Deron is gaining the reputation of being a coach killer. He made Jerry Sloan quit mid season for crying out loud.  He started the "fire Avery" movement last week when he criticized his current coach's game plans and now finally has his wish.  As reported...

So Much For Avery Johnson's Employment

And for the patience of Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov in his new building... 14-14 doesn't guarantee New Year's work for the Brooklynets... Avery Johnson... Or... how 'bout this way...??? You get the idea... Johnson's Nets have lost 10 of 13 games after starting out a lot differently... "We don't have the same fire now than we did when...

Celtics 93, Nets 76: A nice stocking stuffer

For Christmas, at least, the Celtics played well. Jared Sullinger solidified himself as my hero, Rajon Rondo continued to show more aggression as a scorer, Gerald Wallace may or may not have wanted to brawl, Deron Williams (and Joe Johnson) used to be a lot better, and I don’t know if I said this before, but Sullinger’s my hero.I would write more, but I’m going to see Les Miserables...

Paul Pierce’s Game Ball Gesture to Jason Collins Doubly Appreciated, As Awarding Game Balls Is Rarity in NBA

BOSTON — Paul Pierce gave Jason Collins his game ball, everybody clapped and that was pretty much that. A few days later, Pierce’s token of recognition for the veteran center’s hard work was all but forgotten for many members of the Celtics, who were much more impressed with the 40-point performance that earned Pierce the game ball in the first place. But for Collins, the gesture...

Nets-Bucks Preview

The Nets may have moved to Brooklyn and added Joe Johnson, but their problems against the Milwaukee Bucks did not end when these teams met earlier this month. The Bucks proved to be superior in the backcourt in that contest and have now won 12 straight over the Nets heading into Wednesday night's meeting at the Bradley Center. Milwaukee won 97-88 at Brooklyn on Dec. 9 in the...

Boston Celtics 93, Brooklyn Nets 76: Christmas Day Postgame Analysis

Photo by Michelle V. Agins/The New York Times With a curiosity around the state of the Boston Celtics (14-13), Doc River’s made a statement in dominating fashion finishing the Brooklyn Nets (14-13) this time around 93-76. Leading scorers not needed: Recently, games would be around the name Paul Pierce, but Tuesday’s performance was behind rookie Jared Sullinger aka “big fat...
