The odds of the Milwaukee Bucks landing a top-three pick in the NBA draft were only 2.54 percent, and unfortunately for general manager John Hammond, the odds won out.In Wednesday night's lottery selection, the Bucks found out that they will bedrafting at No. 12 in the June 28 draft.Finishing with the 12th-worst record in the NBA (31-35) this past season, Milwaukee had a 93.55 percent chance of drafting at the 12th overall spot. There are several intriguing players that the Bucks will be choosing from at No. 12, including Ohio State forward Jared Sullinger, Connecticut shooting guard Jeremy Lamb, Duke guard Austin Rivers, Kentucky wing man Terrence Jones and Illinois center Meyers Leonard. It's highly unlikely that Baylor forward Perry Jones III or Syracuse shooting guard Dion Waiters will fall that far.Going into the final year of his contract, Hammond will be embarking on his fifth draft with the Bucks. His first-round selections thus far have been Joe Alexander (8th overall, 2008), Brandon Jennings (10th overall, 2009), Larry Sanders (15th overall, 2010) and Tobias Harris (19th overall, 2011).Follow Paul Imig on Twitter
