CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Stephen Curry's homecoming turned out to be everything he hoped for. The Charlotte native made his only appearance of the season at Time Warner Cable Arena on Monday night, and he led the Golden State Warriors to a 104-96 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats. Curry scored a game-high 27 points, including 15 in the third quarter, on a night when the Warriors led by as many as 21 points and held double-digit leads most of the way. He added seven rebounds and seven assists. Last season, Curry was injured and didn't play when the Warriors lost to the Bobcats in Charlotte, so Monday night provided the end of a long wait. "It was a good win for us, and it meant a lot to me," said Curry, a four-year veteran. "Coming back to Charlotte, my anticipation was high for this game and seeing my family, and our performance tonight was definitely icing on the cake. It was a good homecoming, coming back home." Coach Mark Jackson praised his guard...

Stephen Curry Makes Bobcats Look Silly

Recently, the question surrounding Stephen Curry has been his health. At first, some wondered how he would translate to the NBA from Davidson, a school that didn’t play the most grueling competition. He has pretty much dismissed this question, as he’s shown  that he’s one of the better point guards in the league. If his ankles can hold up, he can be a special player. He doesn’t...

Stephen Curry More Lights Out Than a Clapper In Homecoming

“There are no limitations on this team,” Warriors coach Mark Jackson said, perhaps overstating his team’s abilities just a smidge. “They’re all committed and everybody hangs on to the rope.” The Bobcats, meanwhile, are hanging from a rope, having lost 8 in a row, most of them at home, most of them more convincingly than [...]
