Rumors and Rants:
We’ve featured a few sweet Blake Griffin dunks on this site before, but on Monday night while everyone was watching the NCAA Championship Game, he unleashed one of his best.
Griffin’s one-handed put-back dunk against the Dallas Mavericks was simply incredible.
In the above video Griffin sends the ball across the floor to Randy Foye, who misses a 3-pointer. For some reason Shawn Marion decided not to block Griffin out, and he made the veteran pay.
Griffin went sky-high for an incredible put-back dunk that extended the Clippers’ lead over Mavericks to 84-66, in a 94-75 win for Los Angeles.
Even for Griffin, that dunk was impressive.
BEST OF MAXIM
DALLAS (AP) -- Randy Foye had 28 points with a career-high eight 3-pointers and the Los Angeles Clippers won their sixth consecutive game, 94-75 over the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night for their longest winning streak in two decades.

Sometimes, things just fall into place, and sometimes, things are a result of hard work paired with an opportunity.
For Randy Foye on Monday night at Dallas, it was the latter.
Foye tied a franchise record by hitting eight 3-point shots, and he scored 28 points in the Clippers' 94-75 win over the Mavericks.
"Well, he was just feeling it obviously," Clippers coach...
Rumors have been swirling that Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian‘s marriage is going through a rough patch and perhaps, in familiar Kardashian fashion, even nearing “the end.” Khloe has denied any assertions that she and Odom are heading for splitsville.
And now, perhaps strategically, either to convince us the two are going strong or to give us nightmares, Khloe dished some...
Blake Griffin was at it again Wednesday doing what he does best: throwing down ridiculously fierce dunks. He scored the Clippers’ first points in their game against the Lakers by following a Randy Foye missed three with a dunk over Pau Gasol. Griffin just gets so high and dunks with so much power it’s embarrassing for other players.

The battle for Los Angeles in the basketball world happened tonight as the Lakers faced off against the Clippers at Staples Center.
As you may figure, Clippers forward Blake Griffin dunking ability made an appearance on this tip-dunk that left Pau Gasol on the ground:
Jason Kidd strained a groin while his owners strained their brains trying to figure out how to replace his assists, threes and steals totals this week. Look, I realize J-Kidd isn’t all that no mo’ but at 4 rpg/5.2 apg/1.7 spg/1.5 3pm/.864 FT, he was definitely contributing in a solid yet unspectacular manner. Your immediate add is Delonte West who posted 6/1/4 with a block in...
Quickly and decisively, the Clippers point out that there isn't a rivalry between them and the Lakers.
"Honestly, I don't think it is one," center DeAndre Jordan said. "But I'm not worried about any other team. I don't care about them. I respect them as a team and as players. Once we step in between that line, I could care less about any accomplishments...
Dallas Mavericks center Brendan Haywood denied Orlando Magic coach Stan Van Gundy's claim that he punched Dwight Howard.
Van Gundy said that Howard's back spasms were initially caused by a punch from Haywood. The coach said that he would send a video of the play to the NBA office.
"Man, I don't know what's wrong with Stan," Haywood told ESPN Dallas. "...
Chris Paul said he injures his elbow "all the time."

A lengthy stay at home appeared to provide just what the Los Angeles Clippers needed to end their struggles on the court and put aside any distractions off it.
The Clippers, though, will be on the road for much of the rest of the season starting Monday night against the Dallas Mavericks, winners of 10 in a row at home in the series.

Over the course of his career Jason Kidd has been a stat machine. His 107 triple-doubles ranks him third all-time behind Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson which puts him in some pretty lofty company to say the least. But with Jason Kidd now at the very tail end of his career, Boston Celtics’ point guard Rajon Rondo may be starting to cement himself as the league’s new triple-double...
