Both the Nuggets and Trail Blazers limped into the All Star break with Portland losing 6 of their last 10 games and Denver lost 7 of their last 10. Each is still in the playoff picture and the Nuggets have won 6 straight against the Blazers in the Mile High City.

*NBA ATS Matchup Report*

Injuries have really hurt, ha ha, the Nuggets this season and while leading scorer Danilo Gallinari is still out Denver will get Ty Lawson (15.4 ppg) back tonight and Nene (13.4 ppg 7.8 rpg) may return.

Portland star LaMarcus Aldridge (22.3 ppg) has struggled in Denver in the last few games and he will be key tonight and he may have a monster game if Nene cannot go.

The Nuggets will need some players to help out on offense since Gallinari is out, as Denver has to win their offense, which ranks 2nd in the league in scoring, since their defense only ranks 28th in opponents’ points allowed.

If the Blazers can slow the pace of the game and not allow the Nuggets to get out on the break and get easy fast-break points they have a great shot to win this game.

Nicolas Batum (13.9 ppg) and 6th man Jamal Crawford (14.2 ppg) have been playing well and while Gerald Wallace (13.7 ppg) has been great at home he has really struggled on the road where the Blazers are only 5-11 this season.

Portland Trail blazers vs. Denver Nuggets Betting Lines & Handicapping

The Blazers crushed the Spurs 137-97 in their last game, but San Antonio was without their 3 stars of Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili, and Tony Parker.

Portland has already beaten Denver twice this season, but both of those wins were at the Rose Garden.

In some betting trends for this Northwest Division match up the Blazers are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 road games, 1-5 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record, and they have an Over record of 8-3 in their last 11 games.

The Nuggets are 1-7 ATS in their last 8 home games, 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record, and they have an Under record of 5-2 in their last 7 home games.

Pick: You know, I would love to go with the Blazers in this game, but I just cant. I think a huge factor in this game is if Nene can play.

That is a big key, but regardless I think some home cooking and the rest the Nuggets got from the All Star break is just what they needed and they will win tonight and cover the 3.
