Paul Pierce has done it again. The Celtics' captain has passed yet another Hall of Famer on the NBA's All-Time Scoring list. On Thursday night, Pierce passed Portland legend Clyde Drexler to reach the 26th spot on the list. Pierce hit the 22,195 point mark midway through the fourth quarter of Thursday's 100-91 win over the Milwaukee Bucks. Last season, Pierce was able...
The Boston Celtics played home game after home game to begin the season, but the March road trip loomed like a gallows in the distance, ready and waiting to execute the Celtics in one eight-games-in-13-days stretch. Doc Rivers claimed not to be worried. The road would galvanize his squad, he said, mold it into a cohesive unit, tie it closer at the seams. And here the Celtics have...
Looks like Peaches has a concussion and will spend the night in Philly, but didn't have to be admitted tot he hospital. Usually with concussions, you aren't allowed to fly so it's probably best he stays the night and drives back to Boston tomorrow. Wishing Mickael Pietrus a speedy recovery from all of us at CelticsLife.com!

It was a tale of two halves for the Boston Celtics tonight. In the first half, it seemed like the boys in green were motivated to beat their division rival and overtake them for 1st place in the Atlantic Division. But unfortunately for the C’s, the wind was completely taken out of their sails late [...]
The title should really say it all. The Celtics’ Mikael Pietrus took a nasty fall last night while driving the lane in Boston’s 99-86 loss in Philadelphia. With about five minutes to go in the first half, Pietrus drove to the hoop, but was turned away by the 76ers’ Lou Williams. Pietrus fell awkwardly to the floor, slamming his back on the court and snapping his neck back...
The Celtics will finally add another big man to the roster on Thursday. According to reports from The Boston Globe and Yahoo Sports, Ryan Hollins will be a member of the Boston Celtics on Thursday and should be available to play against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. CSNNE reporter A. Sherrod Blakley reported that Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett favored Hollins during the summer...
I'm still sick to my stomach at the sight of yet another Boston Celtic being wheeled of the court on a stretcher. It was very hard to focus on anything in the 2nd half as a fan-I can't imagine what it was like for the Celtics' players.
The C's came-out strong on offense and especially on defense. They were firing-on all cylinders...
Ryan Hollins cleared waivers at 2 pm today and reports are that the Celtics are working with him on a contract which could be completed as early as this afternoon. I'll let the tweets tell the rest of the story:
#CelticsTalk: In order to make room for Hollins, #Celtics expected to waive Chris Wilcox.

Then, the Bucks won six in a row and did so in impressive fashion, including back-to-back dominating road wins.
Spirits were high and expectations were growing as new acquisitions Monta...

It might be the better conditioned team, and not necessarily the most talented one, that prevails when the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks meet for the first time this season.
With each club concluding a stretch of three games in three nights, the surging Bucks look to avoid a third consecutive loss to the Pacers on Saturday night at the Bradley Center.
One night after its season...
