It looks like the Kris Humphries is making his return to reality TV!

NBA TV will chronicle the Brooklyn Nets’ made for TV season in their new city and new arena in a series called “The Association.”  According to the New York Times, the league will make the official announcement tomorrow with the first episode airing on October 16. “The Association” follows a similar format to the popular HBO series “Hard Knocks.”

The Nets, who are partly owned by Jay-Z, are the fourth team featured on “The Association,” following the Los Angeles Lakers (2009-10), the Boston Celtics (2010-11) and the Denver Nuggets (2011-12).

Showtime attempted a similar reality series venture by following the Miami Marlins in Season 2 of the “The Franchise.” Like the Nets, the Marlins were embarking on a new name and a new stadium but the docu-series was canceled after 7-epsidoes. Both the Marlins and MLB Network were in mutual agreement to cut the season prematurely after the Marlins, who were an NL East favorite, had a disastrous season finishing August at 55-66. Here’s

s hoping there is no reality jinx for Brooklyn’s first major sports team since the Dodgers left in 1958!

Have the new Brooklyn Nets unis been leaked?

The Brooklyn Nets aren't going to have the official unveiling of their new uniforms until next Friday but, if you believe a story circulating on NBC, photos of the new Jay-Z inspired unis have already been leaked. A photo of the stark black V-necked top with white trim is definitely simple and clean. The classic plain top has "BROOKLYN" across the front...

Are these the new Nets jerseys?

The Brooklyn Nets are close to their maiden voyage in the Big Apple and are hoping a change of scenery will mean good fortune heading into the future. The Nets will be in a new home, and will dawn a new look including new color scheme. Gone are the red, white and blue look and now the black and white color scheme will dominate all of Brooklyn. And while the Nets won'...

Nets' Prokhorov reiterates championship timetable

Brooklyn Nets owner Mikhail Prokhorov's goal remains winning a championship, and the confident Russian expects that to happen soon. "Every team has a grand plan, and we're moving slowly, step by step, because it's easy to make a strong team, but it's very difficult to make a championship team," Prokhorov told reporters Friday after a ribbon-cutting, ceremonial...

Decades later, Brooklyn has its own pro team again

After decades without a professional sports team, New York City's ascendant borough is hitting the major leagues again on Friday when the Brooklyn Nets' new arena opens to the public. The 18,000-seat arena will be officially christened Saturday night with a rap concert by Nets co-owner and native Brooklynite Jay-Z. The opening of the Barclays Center is a symbol of Brooklyn...

Deron Williams Uses Laughing Gas At The Dentist

Brooklyn Nets star Deron Williams spent some time this offseason chronicling a trip to the dentist office on Instagram.  It appears that Williams is receiving some nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, to ease some pain.  I don’t know if he is pretending to be scared or, like myself, hating every moment sitting in a dentist chair. With the Nets losing out on the Dwight...

Ernie Grunfeld and “Adding” To The Wizards Roster

Let me start this out by saying as some of you know, I am not the biggest Ernie Grunfeld supporter. I will however be the first to point out that I actually like a majority of the most recent moves the GM has made on essentially his 3rd team building exercise here in Washington. This Wizards roster has gone from seeing Nick Young, JaVale McGee, and Andray Blatche starting day...
