DALLAS -- Lamar Odom's struggles continued Wednesday night with arguably his worst performance since joining the Dallas Mavericks in December. The former Los Angeles Lakers star scored 1 point in 24 minutes against his former team in a 109-93 Mavericks loss. Things were so bad that Odom's former teammate, Kobe Bryant, felt it was necessary to give his friend a hug and share a few words after the final horn sounded. Bryant told reporters after the game that it was none of their business what he said to Odom. "It's tough," Bryant said of Odom's situation. "He comes to a team that's pretty much set, know what I mean? So it's hard for him to find his niche. And the fans, they don't really understand what he does or how he can do it." Maybe the lowest point of the night came less than a minute into the second quarter when Odom badly missed a free-throw. HOUSTON, March 20 – Let’s not even lie. Our thoughts fast forwarded IMMDEIATLY to this game when Derek Fisher was traded from the Lakers to the Rockets last week. After Fisher’s no-show and eventual buy-out, it was not to be. But there was plenty of napalm to go around towards the end of this one. Dragic leads Rockets' rally over Lakers

HOUSTON (AP) -- Even Kobe Bryant was impressed by Goran Dragic on Wednesday night, giving the Houston point guard a quick hug at midcourt after the Rockets rallied to beat the Lakers. Dragic hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds left and finished with 16 points and 13 assists in the Rockets' 107-104 comeback victory. Down by nine with 5 minutes left, the Rockets had a...

My Opinion – Old School

Over time, people like to compare the players of today to the players of yesterday, back in the day, and its impossible to do that. Fairly anyway. A lot of the players of today are more about entertainment, money and they have that what’s in it for me syndrome.
