CHICAGO -- The Chicago Bulls were determined to regain their home-court advantage, and the Atlanta Hawks certainly cooperated. Atlanta set several records for offensive futility Monday in a 97-58 loss at the United Center. A layup by Jeff Teague with 7.9 seconds left prevented the Hawks from breaking their all-time record for fewest points in a game. The mark of 57 has stood since 1955. The Bulls did set a team record for fewest points allowed. That one stood for less than a year, as they gave up 59 points to the Magic at Orlando on March 19. Chicago was coming off consecutive home losses to the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, which left the Bulls with a 10-10 record at the United Center this season. On the road, they're 10-5. "I feel like the ball was moving well offensively. Defensively, we were all on the same page," Chicago center Joakim Noah said. "I think it was all about our edge and our mindset. I felt like that was the difference tonight."...

During Friday night’s Hawks vs. Jazz game, a lucky Atlanta fan named Kevin had a chance at $1,000 if he made a half court shot. He went with the over hand baseball throw, which everyone knows is a rookie move. Somehow the ball ended up magically getting stuck on top of the rim. Didn't think that was possible from a strait on angle. The announcer then went up and grabbed...
The hits just keep on coming.
In the midst of a season-worst stretch of losing seven of their last nine games, the Atlanta Hawks announced that standout forward Josh Smith will be suspended one game for conduct deemed detrimental to the team.
Josh and I discussed the issue and he understood and accepted this course of action." Hawks general manager Danny Ferry said in a statement...
This video below is simply amazing. You can try to do this a million times and not have this happen. The fan was trying to win money at the Atlanta Hawks game last night during halftime.Check out the video below this video as well to see a guy actually make these one-armed throws to the basket look as easy as a layup. Here is a video of a guy making one-armed half court shots look...
With the Atlanta Hawks trading the behemoth known as Joe Johnson’s contract and Marvin Williams’ bloated contract last summer and with Josh Smith’s contract up at the end of the year, the Hawks will have a massive amount of cap space in the off-season. With up and coming point guard, Jeff Teague also a free agent this off-season, the only players signed on past 2013-14 is...
It seems like the Hawks and Josh Smith have had a rockier relationship that Chris Brown and Rihanna. Here is just the latest drama.

Last night's Chicago Bulls/Atlanta Hawks game wasn't exactly the greatest game of professional basketball but it did feature an impressive slam dunk by Bulls forward Taj Gibson.Watch as Taj rises up in the third quarter of play to throw down a hammer and get Bulls analyst Stacey King to drop one of his hilarious lines:
Batty NBA Hall of Fame power forward Dennis “The Menace” Rodman kicked cameraman Eugene Amos in the ballsack during a Chicago Bulls road game against the Timberwolves at the Target Center in Minnesota 16 Years ago this Thursday on January … Continue reading →

The Hawks have been in Atlanta since 1968, but have existed as a franchise since 1949. In those 64 seasons, the Hawks have scored 65 or fewer points 66 times. They have failed to score 60 points just 21 times. On Monday night, the Hawks made it an even 22 in an embarrassing 97-58 loss to the Bulls. The pathetic offensive output is the lowest since the team moved to Atlanta...
The Atlanta Hawks had one of the worst games I've ever seen from an NBA team last night. They finished the game with 58 points, and had a quarter in which they only scored 5 points. That has to be an NBA record for worst quarter ever. They ended up losing the game to the Chicago Bulls 97-58. The Bulls Taj Gibson added some salt to the wound when he posterized Atlanta’s...
Wizards 93, Hawks 83 [Saturday]
***JOHN WALL BACK! In something of a surprise return (a surprise to me, at least — I had no idea he was about to come back), Wall helped his Wizards achieve their first win streak (two games) of the season with a 21-minute, 14-point contribution (5-11, 4 AST/3 TO) off the bench. It was a feel-good game for the Wizards in more ways than one, as...
Bulls guard Nate Robinson, who’s currently in a feud with Knicks’ Steve Novak after imitating his belt celebration, jokingly shouted out the 3-point specialist at the end of his NBA TV interview following a blow out win over the Hawks Monday night:
With the Chicago Bulls up big against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, forward Taj Gibson didn’t make things any better for ATL as he threw up a huge poster on Anthony Tolliver in the fourth quarter.
What really made the play so enjoyable were the reactions made by the announcer, yelling, “Does anyone know how to post videos to Facebook?!?!”

Jeff Teague had a career-high 28 points and 11 assists, Zaza Pachulia finished two assists shy of a triple-double and the short-handed Atlanta Hawks beat Brooklyn 109-95 on Wednesday night to stop the Nets' seven-game winning streak.
The Hawks played without leading scorer Josh Smith, suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount for ''conduct detrimental to...
