The Detroit Pistons beat the Sacramento Kings 103-97 yesterday. Long time veteran Charlie Villanueva was tossed from the game after a flagrant foul on Isaiah Thomas. If you ask me it looked like a normal foul other than the fact that Thomas went to the ground and got back up like he wanted to fight. Villanueva looked to be going after the ball and only made contact to Thomas' arms. Not sure how this caused an ejection. Might have something to do with Thomas being 5'9, 185 pounds and Villanueva being 6'11, 232 pounds. That tends to make things look a little worse than they actually are. Video of the foul below.

Isaiah Thomas on if being airborne on the play made it worse:
“No it was just the fact that it was a dirty play and he’s a dirty player,” Thomas said. “It is what it is. He got kicked out of the game so it wasn’t nothing big. A lot of guys do stuff like that knowing you can’t really fight in this league so it’s all right.”

The sad part about this whole clip? This might have been the most effort Charlie Villanueva has ever produced during his stint with the Pistons. This is the same guy who had the nerve to call out Garnett to the public about his trash talking. At least Garnett doesn't commit flagrant twos by decking a little guy to the floor. No attempt at the ball or anything.
