Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh is brushing off harsh criticism in Shaquille O'Neal's new book, “Shaq Uncut: My Story.” O’Neal says Bosh has achieved stardom without earning it, is more about numbers than winning, and “is not an elite player.” “I know the thing is entertainment,” Bosh told the Sun-Sentinel. “How are you going to get people to buy your book? So, I don't care about stuff that is said in the media, or in books, or pointed or directed toward somebody, because it's really just a tactic and nothing else. He's an author. He can write whatever he wants. If he sells a bunch, then congrats to him.” O'Neal referred to the Heat as “The Big Two,” referring to LeBron James and Dwyane Wade while showing disrespect toward Bosh.

Bosh takes 'wait and see' attitude for now

Chris Bosh says it still feels strange not to be playing basketball. And the idea of not playing any this season is simply too bizarre for the Miami Heat forward to fathom. Bosh says he's taking a ''wait and see what happens'' approach for now to the labor divide that threatens the NBA season. He's still working out, still staying sharp and hopeful that the...

Warren Sapp: Pretty Boy LeBron James Would Never Make it in NFL

As tired as I’ve grown of hearing people talk about LeBron James playing football, this was just too funny to pass up.  With Jalen Rose appearing as a guest panelist on the NFL Network’s No Huddle on Wednesday night, the topic of LeBron possibly taking his talents to the NFL arose.  Jalen danced around the [...]

Chris Bosh shrugs off criticism from Shaquille O’Neal

In his new book, Shaquille O’Neal smacks around Chris Bosh a little. Which is nothing new, Shaq called Bosh the “RuPaul of NBA big men” before, so this was almost tame in comparison. But when asked about it, Bosh basically shrugged it off. Our own Ira Winderman of the Sun Sentinel asked Bosh about the…

LeBron James and Kevin Durant debut a new webcast that takes you behind the scenes of their offseason workouts.

Shaq compares LeBron, Wade in clutch; smacks Bosh

It’s Tuesday, time for another installment of “Shaquille O’Neal smacks someone is his book.” Chris Bosh, come on down, you’re the next contestant. Here is what Shaq wrote about the third wheel of the Miami Heat, as reported by Ethan Skolnick in the Palm Beach Post (via I am a GM). “Some guys come into the…

Cleveland Cavaliers played hungover during playoff game against Boston Celtics, asserts Scott Raab

Lebron James’ elbow was used as an excuse whenever he struggled during the 2010 playoffs. But Scott Raab said James and his Cleveland Cavaliers teammates had other, more detrimental issues. Specifically, he said the Cavs played Game 2 of the Boston Celtics series that year, a series the Celtics went on to win in six games, while hungover. (Deadspin)By the season’s end, the...

Dwyane Wade Remains Loyal to Michael Jordan Despite Labor War

“Money, it’s gotta be the shoes!” Or, more to the point, it’s gotta be the paycheck that comes as a result of wearing the shoes. DWade wouldn’t say anything negative about his boss at Jordan Brand, smartly keeping NBA and sneaker business separate. From the Sun-Sentinel: “[Dwyane Wade] said he would not allow the lockout get in the way of his marketing relationship with...

Video: Watch LeBron James and Kevin Durant practice playing basketball

LeBron James and Kevin Durant are practicing basketball together up in Akron, Ohio, and this is good news for those of us that tell us that "we just want our basketball back." That's what we hear, from most of you. Nearly all of you, at least the those of "you" that we pay attention to. Save for Tom Jane. He just wants his kids back. So before we get our basketball...

LeBron James Before Miami Art

Ahhh… those were the days huh Dan Gilbert? Created by artist Luigi Bicco from Turin, Italy. This stylish LeBron James illustration practically begs you to buy season tickets to see the Cavaliers play like old times. Sorta, but not really though. Anyway, this piece is pretty cool despite your current feelings about LeBron BTW, I’m totally looking at you Dan Gilbert. See...

The Miami Heat & LeBron James: Kings Of The Video Game World

Is this the year for Miami’s redemption? The year LeBron turns it all around and rids himself of those evil demons? We may never know for sure. But at least in the video game world, 2011-12 is all about South Beach and LeBron James. Without the real NBA, I simulated a season to see what [...]

Warren Sapp says “pretty boy” LeBron not built for NFL

Could LeBron James make it in the NFL? It’s a moot question, but thanks to this interminable lockout we have time to dwell on moot questions. Pete Carroll told him to come try out and James did practice with a high school team. LeBron is certainly athletic enough to be a tight end in the…
