Celtics C O'Neal's wrist surgery to end season

Boston Celtics center Jermaine O'Neal will undergo season-ending surgery on his left wrist. O'Neal has missed 13 games with a sprained wrist this season. No date has been set for the procedure. O'Neal, 33, was averaging 5.0 points and 5.4 rebounds in 25 games in his 16th NBA season. O'Neal was the 17th overall pick of Portland in the 1996 draft, making the leap from high school.
