The Los Angeles Clippers are adding sleeves to a new alternate uniform.
The blue short-sleeve uniforms will be worn for Sunday home games throughout the season. They'll debut on Oct. 19 in a preseason game against Denver in Las Vegas.
The uniform features a light blue color for the first time since the team played in San Diego in 1985. The color dates back to the team's...
Blake Griffin loves that the Clippers have championship expectations this season, “We embrace it,” Griffin said Monday at Clippers media day. ”We have higher expectations for ourselves than anybody else…. We don’t have any championships. That’s the goal, that’s the bottom line. We haven’t really accomplished anything yet.”
Last season the Clippers were eliminated...
Doc Rivers has been very honest with the Los Angeles Clippers during the early part of his tenure.
"He pretty much told me I wasn't anything," Chris Paul said. "He told me I hadn't done anything, and he was right."
"He's been straight-up, he's been very real and when he talks you can tell he has the attention of everybody," super-sub...
Doc Rivers is a winner.
With the Celtics, he guided them to an NBA crown, and consistently had Boston in the forefront of in East and a contender.
And now that is the new head coach with the Clippers, he feels the team needs a shake up and it begins with the mental approach, defense and the meshing of new veteran players such as J.J. Redick, and Jared Dudley.
As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan does some pretty hilarious things and in the below Vine video, he used his sense of smell at a Walmart.
Watch as Jordan chooses a woman looking at some sweaters as his target:
Chris Paul is a six-time NBA All-Star, a former Rookie of the Year, has made five NBA All-Defensive teams, and has two gold medals with Team USA. He’s debatably the most crafty point guard in the league, with lightening speed and the ability to finish at the rim. The one thing he doesn’t have is an NBA Championship. Because of that, head coach Doc Rivers has let Paul know that...
During their media day today the Los Angeles Clippers unveiled their new Adidias “Back In Blue” Pride uniform. The uniform is a throwback to the light blue jerseys that haven’t been worn by the Clippers since 1985 when the team was in San Diego, but with a new twist (peep the nautical symbols on the shorts).
The light blue short-sleeve uniform will be worn for Clippers Sunday...
Los Angeles Clippers star Chris Paul has been one of the best point guards in the NBA for several years. The former Rookie of the Year has been selected to six All-Star teams and is a three-time All-NBA First Teamer. Despite that, CP3 is still in pursuit of his first championship. And until he gets […]
The trend that began in Northern California last season has made its way to SoCal.
On Monday, the Los Angeles Clippers became the latest NBA team to announce that they will be debuting a short-sleeved alternate jersey this season.
Sleeves aside, the new uniforms are a departure from the team’s usual look. Royal blue is replaced by powder blue, a shade the team hasn’t worn since...
Even the stoutest of Chris Paul’s detractors will admit he’s easily a Top 5, if not a Top 3 point guard. However, they are quick to add the fact that on paper at least, CP3 has regressed this season. In actual fact, his per-36 numbers fall right in line with the 18-point, 10-assist mark ...The post Why Chris Paul Can Return to 20/10 Form This Season appeared first on The League News.
Chris Paul might be the best point guard in the NBA, but to Doc Rivers he’s simply a talented guy without a ring.
Fresh off of coaching Rajon Rondo, Rivers is not foreign to dealing with different personalities and that experience dealing with Rondo, along with a winning pedigree allowed Rivers to lay the law down to Paul during their first meeting.
According to Marc Spears of...
Joe Odom will learn to keep his mouth shut next time, and simply know his role.
In all fairness you have to commend the elder Odom for worrying about his sons mental health, but if you’ve been an absentee father, you may want to tread lightly.
Joe Odom spoke out about his daughter-in-laws family, and now according to TMZ, he’ll be forced to pay his own rent.
Joe Odom tells TMZ …...
The Lamar Odom saga continues to take interesting twist and turns. After a blow up last week, that included an interview with LO’s dad Joe stating that the Kardashians were the cause of his son’s downfall, Joe later retracted that statement after Lamar allegedly tweeted a scathing rebuttal to his dad’s claims. There were questions as to if Lamar was really the person tweeting...
I’m on record stating I feel Chris Paul is the best point guard in the NBA. From his court vision, to his command of an offense I’ve always felt Paul is the point guard who would give you the best chance to win. But for all his accolades, Paul’s team success in the NBA has […]
There’s something intoxicating about the colors, shades and hues of baby blue and its relationship to sports uniforms. From the greatness that has come from the University of North Carolina’s basketball program and their Carolina Blue, to the spins, jukes and sprints of Barry Sanders in the Detroit Lions Hawaiian Blue, to the George Brett […]The post Here Is The Baby Blue Sleeved...
