Found May 02, 2012 on Celtics Life:
Poor Hawks fans.  They were so sure they were going to end the evening celebrating up 2-0 and ended up 1-1 and drunk.  I think my favorite comment is this one:  "The refs have been the leaders of the Celtic glee club. Maybe they're confused and think the C's are Miami?"  Talk about grasping at straws.  Not sure how they have the nerve to say that after that first game.  And they admitted through the game they were getting calls so not exactly one sided.    Which one is your favorite?  If I’m the Celtics I play game 2 with a skeleton crew. In fact, why even keep the starters here. They should have left for Boston yesterday and just rest up for game 3. There’s no way they can win this game without Rondo or Ray. They can hope for a very unfocused and overconfident Hawks. Won’t be surprised one bit if that shows up Only on NBATV... We're the Rodney Dangerfield of playoff teams. So unwatchable that we've even dragged the mighty Celtics down to be shown onl...

Paul Pierce “Tebows” on the Hawks logo after the Celtics win

I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about Paul Pierce. Even though he plays for the Celtics, I have an affinity for him. Maybe it’s that he’s from INGLEWOOD. Whatever it is, I respect his confidence on the court. I love that he delivers and then pops sh*t. Tonight following a Celtics win [...]

Video: Paul Pierce is Tebowing

I think the title says it all…

You Can’t Handle The Truth

Paul Pierce willed the Celtics to victory over the Hawks on Tuesday night, dropping 36 points and 14 rebounds in a must-win situation. He absolutely took over in the fourth quarter. What do they say? Big players make big plays in big games? Well Pierce did that again, and he’s earned this montage with a little Eminem dubbed over it.

Paul Pierce Befuddles Coaches, Opponents With Sneaky Skills as Celtics Hope for Another Huge Performance

WALTHAM, Mass. -- Doc Rivers knows what Hawks coach Larry Drew is going through. After Paul Pierce exploded for 36 points and 14 rebounds in 44 grueling minutes in Game 2, Rivers had a good idea of how he would have reacted in his early days coaching against the Celtics. Rivers always seemed to be at a loss for how the stumbling, herky-jerky forward could take over games despite...

Paul's 36 lead Rondo-less Celts

Celtics Live Blog: Paul Pierce, C's Return Home Hoping to Take Series Lead Over Hawks in Game 3

8 a.m.: Rajon Rondo will be back in uniform, looking to dish the Celtics into the lead in their best-of-seven first-round series. Rondo returns to the team after serving a one-game suspension in Game 2, when Paul Pierce went off for 36 points to even the Eastern Conference playoff series against the Hawks at 1-1. Ray Allen is still no more than a game-time decision, and the Hawks...

Celtics 87, Hawks 80

ATLANTA -- On a night where he knew he would have to come up big, Paul Pierce poured in 36 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to power the Boston Celtics to an 87-80 victory over the Atlanta Hawks Tuesday night. Despite being without guard Rajon Rondo, who was suspended for one game for bumping an official in Game 1, and Ray Allen, out with an ankle injury, the Celtics were able to...

Celtics clamp down late, take Game 2 87-80

No Rajon Rondo? No Ray Allen? Eh, whatever. Paul Pierce turned into the 2002 version of Paul Pierce and carried the Celtics offensively. 36 points, 14 rebounds and one massive, backbreaking shot after another down the stretch more than made up for the Celtics' firepower that was relegated to viewership status. Calling his performance a thing of beauty would be an insult...

Josh Smith day-to-day with sprained ligament

Atlanta's Josh Smith has a strained left tendon and his status is day-to-day. If Smith is unavailable for Game 3, then we'll see a lot of more of Jason Collins and Ivan Johnson, which will allow the Celtics to clog...
