Found January 05, 2013 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
It's so much more fun gathering these comments after a win.  I love how they went from declaring KG all but dead to complaining about how he's killing them.   I also love how Sully is gaining a reputation as a Garnett clone.   It was a shame that they ejected KG.  We finally had Gino time and he couldn't enjoy it.   I've highlighted my favorites in bold.  What are yours?  MAKE THE GREEN BLACK AND BLUE! PG's bout to add Paul Pierce to the chain gang. Clank clank I honestly had no idea Barbosa signed with the Celtics... Celtics have been struggling so I'm guessing they will come out hungry. Will be fun to watch PG go against Pierce Boston has lost the last four games. They might play really tough tonight. Seems like KG can barely rebound anymore. He might still be a difference maker, but I don’t think his body will last much longer. I agree. His playing days are almost over but he can still play. West will have his hands full tonight. There’s no telling what will happen with these Pacers. Besides, on paper, these Celts are supposed to be very good. I even thought they would be a top 5 team in the east before the season began. Gotta have some concerns About what happens when both benches come in, but keep Pierce from having a throwback, and I’m not sure who’s scoring points. I agree about the bench. I think they have the edge. Come to think of it, every team has the edge against the Pacers when it comes to the bench. Still, here’s hoping Green shows off his old team while Leandro Plays like how he played in the Miami series. Green, Jet and Lee could be too much for our bench though. I am not looking forward to listening to Tommy Heinsohn. I know, I know, but it will be good fun when he starts crying about the refs when they're down 20 and not give any props to us! Callin those cheap ass elbows on KG KG’s basically the exact kinda guy you don’t want Roy needing to guard Whoa, Jason Collins is still in the league? Glad to see Avery struggling so far. Boston has 3 guys on the floor that can’t hit anything outside of like 5 feet, better take advantage Pierce givin PG a little lesson on scoring against good D Lovin this battle Got himself stripped there but solid start for Roy. Would love to see him dominate KG Seeing Boston whiff on that two on one fast break Makes me feel better. Gerald not keeping up with Terry very well. It's a quiet Boston crowd. It's cold and they looked bored. Both teams shooting under 40% will do that for you These refs are turrible. Left Terry way too open Green has lost him several times, unfortunately PG SHOULD be able to take Jeff Green off the bounce Tyler telling the rest of the team “I want him, I want him” talking about KG. At least Tyler is coming around. Green still sucks. He just looks clueless out there. KG really just can’t do it anymore, body’s breakin down Kevin Garnett really gets on my nerves with his attitude. I know a lot of people respect it, but it annoys the **** out o me. He's like Hansbrough. Love it if he's on your team, hate his guts if he's not. Tyler is just the ultimate agitator. Jason Terry was yapping at him just now. These refs are absolute GARBAGE Please come back soon Danny,   Green is killing me Sullinger still pulling those Ohio State pushes on rebounds I see There's Hansbrough getting an elbow from Sullinger. Haha that dude has to be the most hated player in the league. Sullinger’s been pulling that sneaky little crap since OSU Celtics also a stinky rebounding team and they're out rebounding the Pacers Bad shots, fouls on tip ins getting absolutely nothing from West Put Green back in. We need excuses ESPN made the right call in canceling this game. Boston at least missing FTs Pierce was on Roy and we get a 24 sec violation. Just great basketball. Are the pacers going to get a call ever? Wish Frank said "Ball don't lie" after Pierce missed that FT. I don't know about Frank but I certainly said it Doc with a nice coaching move. Putting Avery Bradley on Augustin to terrorize him into turnovers and crappy passes. It's working. Then again, Yi Jianlian's chair could guard the Pacers right now and they couldn't score. These officials are shameful, half of the calls have been very questionable. Then on top of that they have missed double dribbles. Wow. Rim mics just caught a very audible "F'ing b*tch!" I just went ahead and assumed it was KG. This is vintage NBA officiating. Should expect it in Boston, Amazing how much Garnet gets away with on defense. Clutching, grabbing, bumping. I mean he might play some of the most physical defense of all the bigs in the NBA. I hate everything I hate everything x2 Garnett is killing us on the perimeter. Hibbert on Garnett is just a horrible defensive matchup for us, and RH can't take advantage of his size on KG on our offense. Every mistake the pacers make... Heinson credits it to the Celtics in someway Celtics making slightly fewer stupid plays than the Pacers And capitalizing better on Pacers mistakes 17 field goals, 14 turnovers I need a poptart. I need a slushie. Cause brain freeze is more fun than this mess. Bradley is a defensive stud Rondo abusing augustin... No surprise there. DJ’s been ok offensively but Rondo’s just abused him on the other end Sullinger is a jerk. Somebody box out Sullingers fat ***, please. Let’s just play hack-a-Celt. They’re shooting 45% FT. Sullinger you’re a dick. Fit perfectly with Garnet. Today shows that this team is not ready to do s***, West is also a nice piece to have but he is a big liability when playing good teams. Celtics aren't a good team, they are so dysfunctional this season, hench they are 14-17 They've brought more physicality and intensity in their play. They've imposed their will on us and, in part, they've forced us into some of these ridiculous errors and misjudgments. We're intimidated. I don't think that our ridiculous errors and misjudgements are due to intimidation. The Celtics are simply not intimidating enough at this point of the season. Already not liking Sullinger. Cs putting on a clinic. Pacers mental midgets tonight. Garnett just jacked him in the face That's the main reason why I think Garnett is a punk I don’t disagree that he’s not a good player, but he’s a punk. I'd love Hans To smash Sullinger and Garnett’s heads together Garnett is ejected This game’s a blowout, no need for the kind of crap he and Sullinger are pulling. I honestly don’t think that’s a flagrant 2, but it’s probably a culmination They can toss him and it probably doesn't effect the game. Settles the physical play down Paul Pierce needs to shut his rat lookin' face... Garnett Is the biggest asshole in the league (apart from D. Wade) Full force forearm to the face of opponent, get ejected, get vigorously cheered. Nice, Boston. That's why I don't particularly like the Garnett. He ain’t about that life. He always woofs and barks at guys who are either smaller than him or who play 10 minutes a night on the bench. Let's trade Hans to Boston Unleash him on their practice Sullinger Is really, really dirty Green is a complete waste of a roster spot Gerald green can dunk... And that's about it. We are going to crush them the next time we meet them at full strength. They are very much overrated. They are not even overrated. They are straight up mediocre so far. Don't know how anyone could watch this game and not come to the conclusion that Celts did not defensively and on the board completely control this game from a physicality and toughness standpoint. Sullinger throwing his elbows around again. Dude is a freaking thug. You can tell he's been learning from Garnett. I wouldn't call him anything close to a thug though. I can already see the headlines on the ESPN website "Celtics blowout Pacers by 20 despite Garnett ejection" Find all the reasons you want to be an apologist for us tonight. We played like crap, sure. Boston had a lot to do with that. They absolutely dominated the tenor of this game. We did not match their intensity. I agree, but a major ingredient in the Celts winning handily here is that they broke out a back in the day approach. And we just did not rise to the occasion. We were completely bullied in this game. I'm still missing Barbosa. I'm really glad We didn’t sign Lee this past summer Gerald Green has probably less bball IQ than an Indiana middle school basketball player Barbosa is so much better than Gerald Green... why didnt we give him gerald's money? Final buzzer just buzzed, mercifully I’ll see you all tomorrow. I think I’m going to cry myself to sleep. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Celtics 94, Pacers 75: Boston goes “back to training camp”

Ahh, feels good to finally exhale right?  As some of the worst basketball in the Garnett era was played over the last four games, the Celtics were able to get back to their roots of putting on the hard hat and grinding out the win.  There was a Gino sighting tonight, although Garnett was unfortunately not around to see it.I think Kevin Garnett summarized Boston’s attitude with...

Underrated Stat of the Night - Hawks 1/5

It was 8:11 PM: I had just finished writing my halftime update, when I went to do something else. I accepted that they had lost. It was time to move on. But, I turn on the game mid-way through the third and Sullinger makes a lay up. The lay up gave the Celtics a 61-60 lead. I was shocked to see this sudden turnaround and rushed to my computer to write the update once the quarter...

5 Things Celtics must do to win tonight - Hawks 1/5

The Celtics just beat a pretty good Pacers team by 19 last night in Boston, and must now face an equally good team in the Atlanta Hawks. The Hawks currently sit at 20-11, which is good for third place in the eastern conference. So it obviously won't be an easy game. But if the C's play like they did yesterday then there's no way that they'll end up losing. We'...

Celtics break losing streak, beat Pacers 94-75

The Celtics got their first win of 2013 with a 94-75 win against the Pacers in Boston. This was the best defense the Celtics have played all season. If only they could string a few of these together. Boston started off slow, scoring only scored 15 points in the 1st quarter, but still managed to only be down 1 at the end of the quarter.  They stayed in the game with outstanding...
