Found January 10, 2013 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
It's great seeing all the love for Avery and Sully.   I just hope Danny doesn't make another blooper and trade away a key member of this team just as they are pulling it all together.  The comment about KG playing better mad like the Hulk and the comment about a Suns player dating Rihanna both cracked me up.  Finally the Celtics win 4 in a row!  Good stuff!   I've highlighted my favorites in bold.  What are yours?   Lets watch Suns lose again... Gentry keep the tanking going on 4th Celtics just whooped the Knicks and will walk into the arena with their chests puffed out. Plus they have found an effective starting lineup finally in Rondo-Bradley-Pierce-Bass-Garnett, now that Avery Bradley is finally healthy. We are going to get stomped in this one. All I ask is that they please limit the minutes of S*****n B***n, Telfair, and Beasley. I reckon we can win this I reckon Boston went all in against NYK, and are primed for a come down. Hey after the game do you guys think there is any chance that...we steal Avery Bradley and sneak on on our team bus back to Phoenix? Like just ...Kidnapp him and leave a note pinned to Shannon Brown who’s tied up in the visitor locker room shower? Suns more active team early Except for Bradley. Hey you wanna just dribble the whole court and make a layup? Go ahead buddy, we are the Suns, we don’t mind. Hopefully Gortat has a big game. It'd be nice to showcase him to a potential suitor. Hopefully Gortat doesn't get on the plane tomorrow and his place is filled by Bradley and Fab . Any Bets Beasley Gets Another DNP? He's out with a torn emotions and a dislocated ego Came here to say dat I hate Jason terry You're not the only one. I have to listen to Tommy Heinsohn on LeaguePass   barf  If I had to watch Dudley play for another team, I'd like it to be for Boston. He'd fit perfectly. Good first quarter by the Suns. I guess we’re still in “waiting for the collapse” mode… Wow I didn't know Boston had LB It was funny to see how Pierce thought he could just bully Tucker on the post Yeah. I think the Celts thought we'd just roll over Sullinger falls on the floor a lot. Seems to me that the Celtics are showcasing Sullinger. I am liking Sullinger a lot, been watching him and he seems to be a solid guy already We should have gone for him Injuries worry us? And his flaws are the same as Scola’s, only Sullinger has WAAAYYYY longer arms. Gortat auditioning to the Celts! God I hope so. He has another audition coming up next week vs OKC Bradley looking good Apparently Jeff Green can still jump. 12 Phoenix Suns walk onto a basketball court. They lose. Not really a great joke, is it? Ha. Silly Tommy. Jeff Green is never going to be a superstar. Defense is overrated Jeff Green clowning us. Of course Beasley is guarding him. Beasley couldn't defend my grandmother. Jermaine O'Neal just got posterized. That'll be in the NBA forum tomorrow. Edit: I just rewatched it. That was a nasty poster. Yikes Sit Michael Beasley down. Forever. He’s given up 10 points to Jeff fricking Green already. Don`t worry guys, we are here scouting talent, taking a good look at Bradley and Sullinger, that is all Dudley with a flagrant?????? Good reversal by the refs. If that call would have stayed a flagrant, Barkley would have rolled over in his grave. The difference between the Suns and the Celtics is that if Rondo was the one getting mad the whole team would have adopt his demeanor and back him down. This game turned when Green started torching Beasley. Once Beas toes the court... We're doomed! I'm just relieved he was still able to get 10 players on the court that half. I usually watch these games enveloped by the trepidation he might go to a more rational rotation. A thirsty Boston offense taking a refreshing quaff of the Suns (lack of) defense. Don’t fill up now, Boston, there’s still a second half to drink up 10 fouls on the Suns, 4 on Celtics. Celtics are allowed to mug people and don't get called for anything. It's kind of ridiculous. And I'm fairly positive that's why you see a lot of Celtics games getting out of hand. The refs let so much go for them, that they eventually start testing how much they can get away with. The other team retaliates after they've listened to enough of Garnett's cowardly remarks. Refs should do a better job. Celtics having too much fun out there... O'neal keeps taking bad shots Jermaine O'Neal seems to have come back down to earth after starting the season very strong. I love that steal by Dragic on Rondo. Celtics stunned to start the half 11 point RUN O : Who are these players and where are the real Suns in the third quarter. The teams swapped uniforms at half, just for kicks These Celtics announcers seems so bitter. Like “Get off my lawn” bitter. Tommy Heinsohn is the homeriest homer that ever homered at home. Celtics really need a center Terrible shot by Terry. Good work Jet. Haha Terry with the boneheaded shot. who does not want to punch heinsohn? 17-0 run NO! We're only at the Garden in order to make Gortat look good to the Celtics, not win it! We don't need Terry going off in the 4th... Goran is about as useful as a potted plant out there Everytime Morris starts the offense an angel dies Sullinger looking so fine I want to kill brown and beasley. This would be a gift for basketball. I want this game. The Celtics are a bunch of *******s. Play spoiler if we can. Someone hit the self destruct button Who was it? I thought it was the Panic Button! Sorry This is the Suns in the 4th quarter Stealth tanking! Gortat doing good! Trade him! Sullinger ! Have we come to the point where we're now applauding enemy players? I want the Gortat trade to happen The trade builds the team towards to the future Bradley/Sullinger+contract filler for Gortat Doubt they do that Very much doubt it. They will build around those two. We should have drafted Sullinger… We should have really mucked this game up, been as physical as possible. Garnett, Rondo etc would have lost their composure and done something stupid… Naw-- Garnett plays better mad. he's perpetually mad, like the hulk Rihanna should date a Suns player, they don't beat anyone. Dragic/Gortat for Rondo/Sullinger/Melo/1st. Watching Suns games has become depressing... Lakers also getting stomped. Just great and I'm happy for Nash. Choosed the wrong team to chase a ring. At least Bass had the class to not shoot at the end. Terry wanted him to get the layup… Their big 3 does nothing and they still easily defeat us…ouch. [Discuss on CG Forums!]

Jeff Green’s two monster dunks one year after surgery

I have said a lot of mean things about Jeff Green over the three years that he has been a member of the Boston Celtics. I have compared him to former Boston Red Sox outfielder J.D Drew in the sense that he was a high-profile acquisition that didn’t pan out in the way that the team thought it would. At times, it has looked as if Jeff Green didn’t really care all that much on the...

Happy Anniversary Jeff Green!

On the first-year anniversary of his heart surgery, Jeff Green celebrated it by submitting 14 points (on 5-of-9 shooting), 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block in helping lead the C's to an 87-79 win over Phoenix.  CelticsLife celebrates your courageous return as well, Uncle Jeff, with this special wallpaper commemorating one of several dunks you laid on the Suns.  Welcome Back...

On January 9, 2012, Jeff Green was laying on a surgical table preparing for surgery to repair a damage aortic root aneurysm. After undergoing urgent heart surgery, Green laid on a hospital bed faced with his biggest adversity ahead of him. While recovering, Green missed the entire 2012 NBA season with his future of returning to the league unknown. Fast forward ahead 365 days however...

Green Envy: What Suns fans said - 1/9

The funny thing about this game is all the praise that the Celtics bench got. They actually outscored the starters for maybe the first time all year. Yet looking at the Suns fans comments, it seems like this has been happening all season. I guess their bench is just horrible. We'll have to see if the Celtics bench can consistently have games like this. Top Three: here comes...

The NBA should look out as the sleeping Giant has been awoken in Boston, C’s have won 5 in a row

The 2012-13 season did not start the way the Boston Celtics wanted it to as they struggled all year.  They came into 2013 with a record 14-16 to start the season, and were badly in need of a spark to turn things around.  Well it arrived on January 2nd in the form of guard Avery Bradley.  Bradley, who has missed the entire regular season up to this point after surgery on both...

The more Jared Sullinger plays, the more the Celtics win

Whenever a team plays well, the easy solution is to point to one specific thing and say "That's it! That's the reason they've turned it around!" With the Celtics currently in a midst of a four game winning streak, the easiest factor to point to is the return of Avery Bradley. And that's extremely valid. Bradley has changed the team with his defensive effort...

Underrated Stat of the Night - Knicks 1/7

The Celtics had another nice win in New York last night, beating the 23-10 Knicks 102-96. The Celtics had some cons in this one, but it was mostly good. In my opinion, this was probably their second best game of the year behind their last trip to the Big Apple. Remember that one. It was Christmas and the C's blew out the Nets. At that point we thought the C's were a championship...

Recap: Celtics earn a frustrating win over Phoenix

The Celtics are an incredibly frustrating team to watch at times, and they did nothing to wash themselves of that image despite a eight point victory over the Phoenix Suns tonight. The Celtics held large double digit leads on the Suns on multiple occasions, only to blow both back down to single digits, or giving up the lead entirely. The Celtics held a 12 point lead at halftime...

Green Envy: What Rockets fans said - 1/11

Houston fans were pretty confident coming into this game. They were even calling this match a trap game, although the Celtics had won four straight coming in. As the confidence started to die, the true colors started to come out as fans seemed to cannibalize the team, saying James Harden is there only good player and Jeremy Lin can't score. Top Three Greg Smith tells KG his...

5 Things Celtics must do to win tonight - Rockets 1/11

The Celtics, currently on a four game win streak, will play the second game of a five game home stand tonight when they face the Houston Rockets. The Rockets are 21-15 and seem to know what they're doing. James Harden has been hot lately, and Lin has evolved into a solid point guard. I think the Celtics can win tonight, but they'll have to play much better than they did on...

Celtics' late rally dooms Suns in loss

BOSTON (AP) -- Jeff Green scored 14 points, rookie Jared Sullinger added 12 points and a career-best 16 rebounds, and the Boston Celtics recovered from a dreadful third quarter with a big rally to start the fourth and held off the slumping Phoenix Suns 87-79 on Wednesday night. The Celtics survived a scoring drought that spanned almost half of the third quarter, scoring just 14...

Four in a row: Boston Celtics beat Phoenix Suns 87-79

The Celtics are over .500 once again. I don’t think any of us expected this to be such an accomplishment before the season began, but here we are. And honestly, after holding the Suns to just 79 points on 39.3% shooting from the field, I think we can agree that it’s really really good to be back.Let’s get to tonight’s bullet points:If we pretend getting the first bullet point...

Celtics 87, Suns 79

The ''Big Three'' leading Boston to its latest win was an unlikely bunch. Jeff Green, Jason Terry and rookie Jared Sullinger carried the Celtics through a game of streaks, each outscoring their starting teammates as Boston recovered from a dreadful third quarter and held off the slumping Phoenix Suns 87-79 on Wednesday night. Green had 14 points, Terry scored 13...

Celtics fend off Rockets, 103-91

Not sure why Russell and Olajuwon got paired up... Paul Pierce led the way with 23 points, and had two key hoops that held off a Houston 4th quarter rally and propelled the Celtics to a 103-91 victory. In Wednesday night's win over Phoenix the Celtics top 3 scorers all came off of the bench (Green 14, Terry 13, and Sullinger 12).  The subs continued that trend through the...
