NBA Injury News:
Can Chicago Bulls fans say goodbye to Luol Deng? It's certainly a possibility as contract negotiations have stalled and fizzled out altogether. The team has decided to table all contract talks until after the upcoming season says K.C. Johnson of the Chicago Tribune. Deng's agent say this will ensure his client becomes a free agent next summer.Deng, who battled through a few bumps and bruises last season but ultimately helped the Bulls as much as possible in Derrick Rose's absence, has been unable to get close in negotiations for a contract extension with Chicago. "Luol has taken the position that he will definitely go through the free-agent process," said Herb Rudoy, Deng's Chicago-based agent. Players and agents will often use any leverage they can in a contract negotiation. However, teams generally don't take kindly to ultimatums. It would not be surprising to see the Bulls let Deng walk via free agency. Of course, that would be an emotional decision, and the Bulls need Deng.Deng averaged 16.5 points and 6.3 boards last season. In his nine-year career, Deng has averaged 16.0 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. That type of production is something the Bulls do not want to lose. However, they are not willing to overpay for it.Follow @hoopsinjurynews

Chicago Bulls point guard Derrick Rose as gone through hell over the past 18 months.
The critical knee injury in the 2011-12 playoffs, the rehab, the drama around the lost season and the self-doubt that must accompany all of it has not made life easy for the former MVP.
Rose is currently in the Far East promoting shoes and gave a few lucky(?) attendees an event the opportunity...

Derrick Rose is still touring Asia trying to sell shoes for Adidas, but as part of that promotional tour decided to play a little one on one. Well one on three in this case against a few Samurais. Rose’s knee looks pretty good here but I am sure Bulls fans are looking forward to seeing this in real action against actual players.

No this is not the latest installment of some Wolverine movie involving samurais. Instead, this should be something Bulls' fans are loving considering Derrick Rose seemingly is ready to go for next season.
Rose is out in Japan on a promotional tour for Adidas and while there, he went one-on-three versus samurai. That's right, he took on three samurai en route to the easy...

The Chicago Bulls’ Jimmy Butler had a great 2012-2013 campaign, and is hitting the offseason with the same tenacity he showed when guarding Kobe Bryant last year. The regiment is a strict one, but also a fair one. What would that training be exactly? It would of course be playing some one-on-one with March Wahlberg. It would appear that Jimmy won 7-6 if his Instagram caption...
It was a vague response given by LeBron James earlier this week.
“I have absolutely no idea’’ the Miami Heat superstar responded in an ESPN.com story when asked about what could be his pending free agency after this season.
Somewhere in Chicago those five little words had to have Bulls general manager Gar Forman smiling.
Forman like at least half the GMs across...
