If a new collective bargaining agreement, between owners and players, is agreed upon, sometime this week, then the Orlando Magic "MIGHT WANT TO
" kiss Dwight Howard goodbye.Orlando Sentinel
is reporting that some details in the latest, and "last" offer made by NBA owners to the players union about the possibly new CBA, Collective Bargaining Agreement, could hamper the Orlando Magic's ability to keep their star center from leaving "if" he's contract runs out, making him available for free agency in 2012.
It's being said that in the new deal, which is awaiting the approval from the NBA players, NBA teams would be permitted, who are over the luxury-tax threshold, to make sign-and-trade deals over the first two years of the new CBA.
It's being said that "IF
" this idea/dream becomes reality, then it would give the Los Angeles Lakers, Chicago Bulls, New Jersey Nets, New York Knicks, and other teams, who are under the salary cap, the possibility to go after Howard in free agency.
Even though Howard has claimed he DOESN'T KNOW
what decision he'll make about his future, some believe that he would like to join Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles to hopefully win himself a ring.
