That NBA Lottery Pick:
During his time as President of Basketball Operations for the Minnesota Timberwolves, David Kahn was often criticized on many of the decisions he made in trying to reshape the franchise.
While many basketball minds look at Kahn’s time in Minnesota as a failure, he still is able to make a name for himself and be looked at as someone with wisdom to offer on the subject of decision making in business.
New York University is offering a deal making class with Kahn as the professor for $750. Check out the class description below:
In this intensive weekend course, students will be immersed in the concept of dealmaking, with special emphasis placed on lessons learned in real-life deals from the world of sports, entertainment, and real estate. They will gain a deeper understanding of the key steps required to put together a deal, including building relationships, preparation tactics, identifying what’s important for the other party and how to deliver it, learning when to say no, and understanding that the renewal period for the deal starts the moment it has been completed. This three-day, intensive is designed for anyone interested in the art of the deal, including business leaders, administrators, and executives in dynamic fields that involve personal interaction.
Now that Phil Jackson is in New York, maybe he can drop by the class and learn something.

Ricky Rubio put on one fine performance Wednesday night as his Minnesota Timberwolves dueled with the Dallas Mavericks. The Spaniard corralled a triple-double of 22 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds in the Wolves’ 123-122 overtime victory. More impressive was Rubio’s efficiency in this contest. He shot 8-of-12 from the field for 66.7 percent, compared to his 37.6 percent season...
Fresh off his triple-double on Wednesday night to lead the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 123-122 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks, point guard Ricky Rubio weighed in on easily the most important sports story of the day, or at least the only thing people are paying attention to: The NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. Of course, […] The post Ricky Rubio fills out bracket...

It happened in the Timberwolves-Rockets game in the second quarter of play as Minnesota’s Ricky Rubio showed off his passing fancy with this incredible dish to big man Gorgui Dieng:

The Timberwolves' opportunistic rookie center did it again Thursday night at Houston's Toyota Center.
But another Rockets offensive onslaught made Gorgui Dieng's third double-double in as many career starts all for naught.
Forced into duty with injured Nikola Pekovic and Ronny Turiaf on the shelf, Dieng became the first rookie in the Timberwolves' 25-year history...
Minnesota Timberwolves point guard J.J. Barea is a feisty little guy who doesn’t back down from anyone on the court.
Although he’s listed at six feet by many sites, one look at him and it becomes clear that that isn’t the case (His momma says he’s 5’10″). So it was kind of surprising and funny to few players when he attempted a put-back dunk during a game versus the...
One of the Timberwolves' two top dogs should probably purchase the other a nice, tender ribeye while the team is in Texas.
Who buys is up to Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio.
In a career night featuring offensive brilliance rarely seen during his young career, Rubio served as Minnesota's nightlong hero. But when the Timberwolves needed a closer, they turned to their other franchise...
MINNEAPOLIS -- Stashed away in Kevin Love's suburban Twin Cities apartment sits a stack of handmade greeting cards.
The Timberwolves power forward thumbs through them every once in a while, recalling Christmases, Easters and Sept. 7 birthday celebrations from throughout the past 25 years. Each one conjures a different memory of his maternal grandmother, who authored and illustrated...
A post to Instagram of a woman’s manicure highlights nails that are intended to resemble Minnesota Timberwolves power forward Kevin Love and Oklahoma Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook. The resemblance is uncanny. And how clever is it to have the fingers on one hand feature the player’s head and the opposing finger on the other […] The post Woman’s nails painted to resemble...

DALLAS (AP) Kevin Love scored 35 points, including the go-ahead basket in overtime, Ricky Rubio had a triple-double and the Minnesota Timberwolves blew several leads before hanging on for a 123-122 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
Corey Brewer has largely gotten it right in his second stint with the Timberwolves.
Robbie Hummel has won over the Timberwolves' contingent, as Wednesday's late-game scenario attested.
Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio are quite the dynamic duo, it’s just sad that future team success for both players will come on different teams.
Rubio had a magnificant triple-double against Dallas, and Love was usual self dropping in 35 points including these clutch two right here to beat the Mavericks in overtime.
Whether playoff challenger or spoiler, the Timberwolves beat the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday for the third time in their four-game season series this season with Wednesday’s 123-122 overtime thriller at American Airlines Center.
Wolves star Kevin Love’s shot with 17 seconds left put the visitors ahead for good and Dallas star Dirk Nowitzki missed the potential game-winner...
