PLAYERS: David West
TEAMS: Indiana PacersMiami Heat
David West has agreed to stay with the Indiana Pacers Since signing David West two years ago, the Indiana Pacers have become one of the NBA’s toughest teams. After two years solid years with the Indiana, West and the Pacers saw themselves one game of the NBA Finals this past season. They would lose Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals to the eventual champion Miami Heat, but gave them all they could handle and then some. The Pacers are serious about their future and they know how important David West is to their success. Thus the team has resigned the power forward to a three-year, $36 million deal. The question now becomes, how long can the 33 year-old West play at a high level? West will be 36 years-old and raking in $12 million during the final year of the deal.   League source confirms Pacers are finalizing three-year, approximately $36M deal with free-agent forward David West. — Ken Berger (@KBergCBS) July 2, 2013   H/T CBS Sports The post David West resigns with the Pacers appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.
