Players like DeMarcus Cousins and Larry Sanders, are unlikely to achieve true greatness in basketball, although, they have the talent to do so, simply because they lack discipline. They’ll show flashes here and there, put up good numbers, but as far as cementing themselves amongst the game’s greatest, not a chance.
In the waning seconds of a very exciting game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings, with his team trailing by three points, Cousins, who is shooting an unsightly 19 percent from the 3-point line, saw fit to jack up not one but two shots from deep that weren’t even close which resulted in another loss for Keith Smart’s men.
