Found January 29, 2012 on Holdout Sports:
Charlotte Bobcats center DeSagana Diop scored only 1 point in Saturday night's 102-99 loss to the Washington Wizards. Diop had some trouble at the free throw line as he was 1-4 with his free throws, including one which was so bad that it came up a few feet short of the rim.

It's plays like this that explain why the Bobcats have only won three games so far this season.

Worst. NBA. Free Throw. Ever.

We won’t say DeSagana Diop is the worst player in NBA history, but the dude is totally a waste of space. The Cleveland Cavaliers made him the eighth overall selection in the 2001 NBA draft. He somehow stuck around with them for four years and he’s now wasting space for the Charlotte Bobcats, where he brings his gaudy career averages of 2.0 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. Pretty...

Desagana Diop has a One-Foot Shooting Range

As you can see in Desagana Diop's free throw last night, anything outside of a foot has a rare chance of going in. At least the technique is there, unlike Chuck Hayes and Joakim Noah. Do big men still have to make 10 free throws in a row before they leave practice? [Follow me @TravisHouser]

Something to Look Forward to For Bobcats Fans

Wow! What a week for the Charlotte Bobcats. Those of you that have read my rambling in the past know that I prefer not to go off on tirades on the current and very dire straits of the franchise. With that in mind, the above words are about the only thing I can really say. [...]

Bobcats Henderson out after re-aggravating back

Charlotte Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson will sit out Saturday night against the Washington Wizards after re-aggravating his back in Friday night's loss to Philadelphia. Henderson missed Wednesday night's game against the Wizards, but returned to play against the 76ers. However, coach Paul Silas says he believes Henderson might have injured his back during a fall Friday...

DeSagana Diop sucks at shooting foul shots

Is this dude f'in serious? He didn't even come close to hitting the net! Wow!

2011-2012 NBA Regular Season: JaVale McGee Dunks On Tyrus Thomas & DeSagana Diop

Dumpster Grease Tire Fire Train Wreck Plane Crash

Like a recurring nightmare, the Bobcats and Wizards played again on Saturday night.  My first impression was astonishment at what a large, lively crowd was on hand in Charlotte.  Who were all of these self-flagellators, and is there a Guinness Book of World Records category for “Most Masochists in a Single Room”? At least they [...]

The Starting Lineup: Picks, Rolls, And Ping Pong Balls

Let me start by saying that I had to whip this up real quick.  I’ve got a long car ride coming up tomorrow and I have to sleep at least a few hours so I’m around to author this blog come Sunday morning.  I’m also in a pretty lousy mood, apparently.  I didn’t even realize the extent of it until I re-read this sh!t.  It’s bursting at the seams with negativity.  ...

Bobcats' Henderson out after re-injuring back

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Charlotte Bobcats guard Gerald Henderson will sit out Saturday night against the Washington Wizards after re-aggravating his back in Friday night's loss to Philadelphia.

Observations: Bobcats at Sixers

? The Bobcats really didn’t think Gerald Henderson (back bruise) would play Friday, but he toughed it out. Probably didn’t hurt that Henderson is from Philadelphia and this was the…Click to Continue »

Wizards steal first road win of the year in Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — With 4.6 seconds left in the game Saturday night, JaVale McGee stood at the free-throw line, with the Wizards up by three points over the Charlotte Bobcats. McGee missed them both. With the clock winding down, Bobcats guard Matt Carroll had a good look at a 3-pointer ...
