The "C" could easily stand for cheap as opposed to Charlotte

The Charlotte Bobcats are rebuilding. While they could re-sign free agent center Kwame Brown and possilby add a shooter, most notably Reggie Williams from the Golden State Warriors. But dont look for this team to be big spenders on big names. It is very possible the Bobcats could trade players such as DJ Augustin, Boris Diaw, and Desgana Diop for picks or younger players. With players like Chris Paul from the New Orleans Hornets and Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic being coveted, I thought of some possible trade possibilites if the Bobcats were to get involved. The first involves the Los Angeles Lakers, New Orleans Hornets, and the Orlando Magic.

Los Angeles gets – Chris Paul and Dwight Howard
New Orleans gets- DJ Augustin, Pao Gasol, and Boris Diaw
Orlando gets – Andrew Bynum and Lamar Odom
Charlotte gets- Steve Blake, JJ Redick and a first round pick from Los Angeles and Orlando

Another trade possibility involves the New York Knicks and again the New Orleans Hornets with the hopes of getting something for Chris Paul

New York gets- Chris Paul
New Orleans gets- DJ Augustin, Boris Diaw, Chauncy Billups and Bill Walker
Charlotte gets- Toney Douglas, and first round picks from New York and New Orleans

While these trades are not likely, you cant discount the Bobcats acquiring as many first round picks as possible as the Bobcats continue to rebuild and get younger.
